After earning a Bachelor of Music degree(Drake University, Des Moines, IA.) and Master of Music and Doctor of Music Arts degrees(The Eastman School of Music, Rochester, NY,) I taught for four years at Whitworth College(now University) in Spokane, WA, and served as organist at Messiah Lutheran Church. When the college position was eliminated, I accepted temporary appointments first at Oklahoma State University (Stillwater, OK.) then at Minot State College(Minot, ND) and at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva. Since 1982 I have served as organist at Dundee Presbyterian Church in Omaha and teach at the University of Nebraska-Omaha and at the College of Saint Mary also in Omaha. I perform as an organ soloist and do a great deal of choral accompanying and private teaching.
