Wednesday Youth Group
Each group starts with a little hanging out and checking in (collecting tickets for winning). We then move down into the Underground (connected to the youth room) where we announce upcoming events, give away lame prizes, play a silly ice breaker game and introduce our study for the evening. Our group is then split into small groups throughout the church to study God’s word, laugh, and pray for each other. The evening is finished with large group games.

YOUTH BELL CHOIR
The youth bell choir practices from 7:20-7:40 on Wednesday’s during the school year. Our desire is to enrich our worship services for congregants and youth by the students share musical offerings to God in worship.
SUNDAY MORNINGS AT 10:00AM
Sunday mornings join us for CRASH. We have a student lead Bible study each week. It’s loud fun and organic (except for the doughnuts). This is a time for all of our youth 6-12th grade to join in worship, study, prayer and discussion. This is a great time to connect with God and peers before the start of the week!
Youth 2019 Mission Trips
This summer our incoming 6th-8th graders have a great opportunity to participate in the Omaha Urban Plunge! We will be volunteering in Omaha August 1st-4th at least 5 different local ministries. This will be our fourth Urban Plunge trip. In the past we have served at Scatter Joy Acres, Open Door Mission, Cross Training Center, Sienna Francis House, Beautiful Gate, Santa’s Camp and Wonderland Ranch, Compassion in Action, and Heartland Hope Mission. What I love about this trip is that students are able to volunteer in so many different ways, they really get an opportunity to discover what their strengths are and the ways that they like to serve. The students also grow in relationships with God and each other.
This year the High Schoolers had the opportunity to go to North Carolina with Praying Pelican Missions from July 14-19. During the trip the students helped out with the hurricane damage from 2018. The students were challenged to step out of their comfort zones and grow in their faith.
